La barcaza se hundió este día en 1995 durante el huracan Roxana en la Bahia de Campeche, con 245 tripulantes abordo. Hubieron un total de 8 personas que perdieron la vida, 3 fallecidos y 5 desaparecidos.
Con el pasar de tiempo, esta tragedia se ha desvanecido en el pasado distante pero sigue siendo un memoria vívida para los sobreviviantes junto con el recuerdo de los que se perdieron.
Que descansen en paz, nunca seran olvidados.

Today is the 25th anniversary of the shipwreck of the DLB-269. The barge sank during Hurricane Roxanne in the Bay of Campeche this day in 1995 with a crew of 245 aboard. A total of 8 persons lost their lives, 3 dead and 5 missing.
With the passage of time, this tragedy has receded into the distant past but remains a vivid recollection for those who survived, along with the memory of those who were lost.
May they rest in peace, they will never be forgotten.
